Overview
Pradayini Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation committed to menstrual hygiene awareness, women empowerment, environmental care, and community wellbeing. Our field work focuses on real situations where girls and women face silence, stigma, and lack of practical health information.
From school sessions and women group meetings to youth-led public campaigns, we run programs that turn awareness into action. We combine education, counselling, local partnerships, and follow-up community support so change stays long-term.
To break menstrual taboos through awareness, community partnerships, and practical health education that improves dignity and wellbeing.
To build an informed and equitable society where every girl and woman can access hygiene knowledge, confidence, and opportunities.
Our mission planning is informed by recent government evidence, including school access trends (UDISE+ 2023-24), public health priorities (MoHFW Annual Report 2024-25), and environmental sustainability findings (India State of Forest Report 2023).
Run sustained awareness in schools and community spaces where menstrual myths, absenteeism, and silence are still common.
Build trust with schools, local volunteers, institutions, and women leaders to make outreach inclusive and repeatable.
Enable women and youth to lead local drives, open conversations, and support peer learning in their own communities.
Create practical models that communities can continue independently through local champions and periodic support.
